Dear guests and friends of the hotel,
since 1 January 2023, hotel operations will pause for about four years. The restaurant and the Bierstüberl will also be closed during this time.
Walks and Hiking
At Lake Starnberg, at the foot of the Alps, Mother Nature presents herself to our guests in all her splendour.
To the south
of the property you can stroll for hours along the lake shore or towards the mountains.
To the north,
the trail leads you by Wolf Gulch (a Geology educational trail), and then to Possenhofen Castle, where Sisi lived as a Bavarian princess.
Towards the west,
you can hike to the cloister and the brewery at Andechs.
To the east
lies Ludwig II’s castle, where he passed away. To reach the castle, a comfortable steamboat journey awaits you.
